This, the largest study of its kind (11,000 men), examined the value of one-time screening of PSA (prostate-specific antigen) levels to predict cancer risk, rather than annual PSA screenings. This publication reaches primary care physicians who are on the frontline of cancer screening, potentially impacting thousands of patients.
